Riccarton Park Racecourse alcohol advice

If you’re heading to the races on Saturday, remember to take it easy in the morning. Eat plenty of brekkie and drink water, we want everyone to enjoy a full day of fun on the course.

Anyone who appears intoxicated (impaired coordination, slurred speech, affected appearance) may be assessed and if found to be under the influence may be breathalysed.  At the gate a reading exceeding 400 micrograms (mcg) of alcohol per litre of breath will be denied entry.

Riccarton Park Racecourse are responsible hosts and want to ensure a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere for everyone.
